Women's Cross Country Finishes 14th at Firehawk Invitational

OAKVILLE, Ala.- The week before, the women's cross country team ran under the lights in a night race in Alabama. On Saturday, the team returned to Alabama, this time for a morning race at the Firehawk Invitational. 

Kaelyn Pluta's time of 26:00 gave her the fastest time for the Lady Bulldogs and a 52nd place finish. Victoria Verran ran a time of 27:09 to finish in 63rd.  Anna-Lise Kirton finished the 6K race in a time of 35:23 to finish 110th while Ann Moses was 112th with a time of 35:35 and Alexis Christiansen was 120th with a time of 51:07. 

On the team scoreboard, the team was 14th with a total of 373 points.

TWU will run again on Friday, October 10 at the Maryville College XC Invite.
