Women's Cross Country Competes at Southern Showcase

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- A few members of the women's cross country team traveled to Alabama to compete in the Southern Showcase on Friday. The meet, hosted by NCAA Division I school Jacksonville State University, and consisted of programs from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCCCA. 

There were 460 runners in the race and Molly Woodby finished 284th with a time of 20:25. Kaelyn Pluta ran a time of 21:26 to finish the race in 332nd place while Victoria Verran was 341st with a time of 21:38. 

Tennessee Wesleyan will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 11 at the Ray Bullock Invitational in Upland, Ind.
