ATHENS, Tenn.- The women's tennis team was back on their home court on Wednesday for a match against the Milligan University Lady Buffaloes. The seventh-ranked Lady Bulldogs won the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match 7-0.

TWU swept the doubles matches with two 6-3 scores and a 6-2 score. Astrid Staksrud and Olivia Alcala won the No. 1 doubles 6-3, Ivet Prat and Mercedes Chasset won the No. 2 doubles 6-2, and Julia Richardet and Honoka Tsuji won the No. 3 doubles 6-3.

The remainder of the sweep saw Olivia Alcala win the No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-3) Jenn Maria Gjos take the No. 2 singles (6-3, 2-6, 7-5), Chasset win the No. 3 singles,(6-1, 6-1), Prat take the No. 4 singles (6-2, 6-0), Tsuji clinched the No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-1) and Paula Cigarran won the No. 6 singles (7-5, 5-7, 7-6 [12]).

The Lady Bulldogs (6-2, 4-0) go on the road for their next match against Brenau University. The conference match is set for 2:00 p.m.
