AUTSELL, Ga.- A great season came to an end on Saturday for the women's soccer team. The team played in the 2025 NAIA Women's Soccer Championship Tournament Second Round where they fell to the No. 12 seed Life University Lady Running Eagles 2-0.
Jenna Vest and Addison Smith got shots early for the Lady Bulldogs that were saved or went wide. The offense struggled to find their footing as Life took a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute of the game, a lead they went into halftime with.
A shot by Julia Starchl almost got the Lady Bulldogs on the board, but the shot was saved by the opposing keeper. The deficit grew larger as Life scored in the 67th minute. Smith took one more shot for the team, but Tennessee Wesleyan was not able to find the goals needed to extend their season.
The team ends the season with a 15-3 overall record, their 10th consecutive winning season.
