GEORGETOWN, Ky.- The women's lacrosse team played their final game of the regular season against Georgetown College on Friday. The road game went down as a non-conference game as the two conference opponents played their countable conference game earlier in the season.
It was a rough trip for the Lady Bulldogs as they were unable to find a rhythm on offense in a 22-0 loss.
TWU finishes the regular season with a 5-9 overall record. The team's 2-3 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) record helped them clinch the No. 4 seed in the AAC Tournament. The team will face No. 5 Truett McConnell University on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. The tournament is being held at the home field of the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky.
