WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.- The women's lacrosse team had a tough road trip on Wednesday. The team played their first conference game of the season, facing the No. 2 University of the Cumberlands Lady Patriots. The team fell 23-1.
Olivia Downey scored the team's lone goal in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game.
TWU (2-5, 0-1 AAC) is set to return to their home field on Friday for a conference game against No. 6 Reinhardt University. The game is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
