Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at AAC Championships

ACWORTH, Ga.- The women's golf team competed for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship the past three days. The team finished sixth after three rounds of golf at the conference championship.

Maisie Hassall finished tied for 12th in the individual standings, finishing with a 238 after rounds of 81, 81, and 76. Ashlynn Guy (90, 87, 95) and June Greene (91, 93, 88) were both tied for 27th place. The duo finished with a three-round total of 272. A score of 288 after rounds of 101, 87, and 100 place Ashlyn Rawlings in 32nd place while Tynsley Peaden (109, 116, 110) finished in 45th place with a score of 335.

Team scores of 363, 348, and 359 gave the team a 1070 total, The team was two strokes back of finishing in fifth place.
