Women's Golf Finishes Third at TWU Spring Tournament; Hassall Wins Individual Title

NIOTA, Tenn.- The women's golf team were back out on the links as the host of the TWU Spring Tournament. A member of the team won the individual title while the team finished third. 

Maisie Hassall won a playoff to take the individual title. Hassall won the tournament with a score of 156 after shooting rounds of 77 and 79. June Greene was tied for 12th with a score of 174 after identical rounds of 87. Ashlynn Guy shot rounds of 87 and 89 to finish with a total of 176 and in 14th place.

A score of 183 (90, 93) placed Ashlyn Rawlings in a tie for 19th place while Maylie Stout was 24th with scores of 93 and 96 for a 189 total. Tynsley Peaden, playing as an individual, finished in 33rd with a score of 216 with rounds of 113 and 103.

The team finished with a total of 689 after total scores of 341 and 348 to finish third. 

Up next for the Lady Bulldogs is the Music City Invitational on April 14-15.
