Men's Cross Country Records Seventh-Place Finish at Firehawk Invitational
Oakville, Ala.- After running at night under the lights in Alabama the previous week, the men's cross country was back in action for a morning race in Alabama on Saturday. The team finished seventh at the Firehawk Invitational.
Stephen Kerley had the fastest time for the Bulldogs in the 8K race, finishing in 36th place with a time of 27:43. Dani Meisen used a time of 28:00 to finish 44th while Braden Huyhn was one spot behind in 45th place with a time of 28:08. in a time of 28:49. A time of 28:23 placed Adrian Nelka-Hernandez in 52nd place and Conner Craig was in 58th place after running a time of 28:40. Jack Headrick finished in 61st with a time of 29:00.
Tennessee Wesleyan accumulated 213 team points to finish seventh out of 14 on the team scoreboard.
The team is set to run again on Friday, October 10 at the Maryville College XC Invite.
