Men's Cross Country Finish Fifth at Season Opener

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- The men's cross country team ran their first meet of the season on Saturday. The team finished fifth at the Mountainside Stride, with four finishing in the top 30 of the individual standings. 

Stephen Kerley paced the Bulldogs with a sixth place finish in a time of 20:15. Dani Meisen was 12th overall with a time of 20:40, giving the team two finishers in the top 12. Adrian Nelka-Hernandez used a time of 21:20 to finish 24th while Conner Craig's time of 21:26 placed him 30th overall. Braden Huyhn finished the race 35th overall with a time of 21:52.

Tennessee Wesleyan accumulate 98 team points in their fifth place finish on the team scoreboard.

The team will run again on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Falcon Classic in Montevallo, Ala.
