ATHENS, Tenn.- It was senior day for the second-ranked Bulldogs on Thursday. The team used the excitement of the day to pick up a 7-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) win against the Truett McConnell University Bears.

Scores of 6-1, 6-0, and 6-2 gave the Bulldogs all the doubles matches. Mario Monoclus and Lucas Perez had the first score in the  No. 1 doubles win, Asier Pascual and David Leon had the second score in the No. 2 doubles win, and Chanon Phunsawat and Jose Andrade had the third score in the No. 3 doubles win. 6-1 

In the singles, Asier Pascual (No. 1) and Perez (No. 4) won their respective matches with 6-1, 6-1 scores. Leon won the No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-1, Phunsawat took the No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0 to go along with a 6-1, 6-2 score by Yanael Lundqvist in the No. 5 singles and a 6-3, 6-0 score by Andrade in the No. 6 singles.

The win moved the team's record to 14-1 overall and 6-0 in the AAC.
