PIKEVILLE, Ky.- The men's tennis team tallied a win against the University of Pikeville Bears on Friday. The second-ranked Bulldogs won the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match 7-0 

TWU started the match by winning all three doubles matches. Lucas Grana and Lucas Perez won the No. 1 doubles 6-2 while Agustin Gaia and Mario Monclus won the second doubles match 6-1. David Leon and Maceo Simpson won the No. 3 doubles 7-5. 

In the singles, Grana won the No. 1 match 6-2, 6-0, Nicolas Campos Cortes and Santiago Russo won the No. 2 and No. 3 matches, respectively, with identical 6-2, 6-2 scores. Asier Pascual took the No. 4 singles match 6-1, 2-6 [10-3] while Chanon Phunsawat won the No. 5 singles match 6-4, 6-2. Rocco Mariani won the No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-3. 

TWU (15-1, 7-0 AAC) will travel to face No. 23 SCAD Atlanta for their final conference match of the season on April 3 at 1:00 p.m.
